I’ve been really tired lately; obsessively tired.  I’m getting into work later and later and it’s effecting the time that I get home.  By the time I get home and get the kid to bed it seems that I am too tired to continue work on my indie development efforts.  It’s been a real uphill battle in the recent months.  To be honest, it’s kind of frustrating to want to do something and just lack the drive.  I suppose a lot has changed in my life and I’m still getting used to it.  Even if my actions have been small as of late, my dreams are still big, my heart is still hopeful that I may find success in one of my ventures some day.

The lack of a development partner has reached a boiling point for me.  Looking at competitions like Dominance Wars or at portfolios of the amazing talent from around the world makes it very clear that my dreams will fail without an artist.

I need to find something to help me regain balance.  I’d like to think that a taste of victory would wet my palette and reinvigorate me, but I just don’t know.  I don’t know when or if it will happen, and I don’t know if it will only do more harm than good.
