Down Time
Sorry guys. I try to post something at least once a month but I haven’t been up to it lately. Sometimes I just feel that I have nothing to say and this month happens to be one of those. Also, I’ve been wait for my new hardware. My laptop recently suffered a burn out and I’ll be spending the next several weeks trying to recover my data and transferring it to the new laptop, when it finally arrives. In an effort to multi-task my data recovery, I also ordered a hard drive enclosure to extract my old laptop hard drive. If it works out, I’ll update this blog entry and let you know.
[ UPDATE]
I’m back baby! My new PC is up and running strong. My development environment is not 100% yet; I still have a lot of preferences to tweak, but I at least have internet access and a working screen again. The Sabrent EC-UST25 Hard Drive Enclosure – 2.5″ SATA to USB 2.0 seems to be working like a champ and I was able to get my data off of the hard drive.
Now that I have this beefy quad core machine with RAM to spare, I need to find a pet project to push it’s limits… Hmm, let me know if you have any ideas.
